Love Creek Marina Awaits A Storm

This fantastic image of Love Creek Marina, in Sussex County, Delaware was made this December right before a winter storm set in! I had been shooting down at Wolf Neck and then decided to head on down to Millsboro and just caught a glimpse of Love Creek and Marina as I was driving by. Well I just had to go back and photograph it! And I'm really glad that I did! It made for a really wonderful image!

The Miss Jennifer Docked at Elliott Island

I love shooting at Elliotts Island or Elliott Island, apparently there is come confusion between what the locals call it and what the state of Maryland call it! Dock at Elliott Island

This Image was made on a cold January day at one of my very favorite places to shoot, Elliott Island. Elliott Island looks much as it probably has since the 1950's and just is an amazing place to shoot! Here is one of the docks overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, and I couldn't have been more pleased the way this image turned out. I'm hoping you will really like it, I loved making the image.

Friday Night Lights

"Friday Night Lights" is a photo taken in the fog during the Sussex Central vs Indian River Football game in 2008. While action photos are hard enough, at times I couldn't even see the players on the field. Standing back and watching I found that capturing the overall atmosphere of the game was was the most outstanding shot of the evening! And now it can be yours.

Assawoman Wildlife Area, Marsh and Pines!

Assawoman Wildlife Area, located just before by Camp Barnes is one of the last of Delawares undiscovered treasures! Following many winding country roads you almost discover this park by accident, and once you do you will find this Beautiful State Park is photographers and families dream. This photograph was taken down a narrow little path that opend up into a much larger marsh. While it was originally a color print... i just fell in love with it as a Black and White image!

Gordon's Pond Sunset

"Gordon's Pond Sunset"

While hiking at Gordons Pond, I couldnt help but capture a beautiful sunset falling on one of the towers that has been standing guard of the shoreline for many years, right off of Rehoboth beach. The marsh and Pines helped frame the tower and the sun reflecting off of the tower and the water couldnt help but to make a wonderful print.

Old barns hold a special fascination for me and I can hardly pass one by with out wanting to photograph it. When I came across this barn outside of Milton I immediately noticed the light shining on the green foliage thru the window. That combined with the moss growing on the old feed trough in front, I knew instantly that i just had to make this print, so much in fact, that I went back on several occasions hoping to capture the green foliage even better. Persistence paid off and I captured a wonderful image titled "Thru the Window".
